So who can have critical illness cover?

As with most insurances you generally have to be over 18, though as said in other sections children are covered but only under their parents plan.

Most plans have a maximum age at end of benefit of 75 but this does differ between insurers.

As long as you are within these boundaries most people can have critical illness insurance subject to medical underwriting.

They do concentrate a little more on family medical history as medically this can give an indication to the statistical chance of the conditions the life assured might suffer in the future.
